The Legend about Nexus

"Unknown to anyone, Nexus is a place where unimaginable power and energy lies. Where is it located? - How to use it? Nobody knew, but in truth everyone's heart was corrupted thanks to it. Everyone wanted to have that God-like power, which will be given, as legends say, to one who firstly find it. Random raids and parties were organized to find the Mystical Nexus, but every single Expedition was a failure.

The one who truly created it was the First Emperor of the Great Empire and his Three Most Trusted Mages. They in secret collected all of world's energies deep beneath the Emperor's Halls. They made it that way so it can collect energy from every living being in Zulium, making it's own power stronger. Over the years, it's power grew stronger and Emperor became Corrupted in wish to use it's power. Every day he would visit his Mages and precious Nexus, who was now a huge column of great power, barely able to be hold beneath the Emperor's Halls. Emperor got, thanks to Nexus, the curse that cannot be taken off. He was given Black Robes and a mask, that he had to use every night and kill one Citizen every night, in tribute to Nexus. It was more his own will to do that, than the Nexus'. Every night he would kill one Citizen, and bring his victim's body near Nexus, pushing it inside and making it torn apart thanks to huge amount of mass energy that Nexus holds. One night victim was Gazim also, but his body hasn't been brought to Nexus, because he had his own dark powers; which will, if it merges with Nexus, cause great explosion and almost Cataclysm of the world. Emperor had no clue that what he is doing is meaningless to Nexus, because Nexus isn't feeding with people's bodies and lives, it's feeding with nature, energy and power. By every single passing day, it's power would grow up even more, and more, and more until it wouldn't be able to be controlled and then, Cataclysm of whole Universe would come. But what now? - Who can stop the Nexus from growing up? Was the question of Emperor, who got bored of killing random people in Nexus' tribute. Entrance to hidden Nexus Place was in nearby big Church, where in wall was a secret passageway that leads straight to Nexus' cave. One night Emperor took two of his most loyal Guardians, and moved to the Church. He stood in the middle of Church, praying to Gods and asking them to help him. He in truth wanted to destroy the Nexus, and free the world from it's Tirane. But as soon as he wanted to open the hole on wall, he was attacked by Gazim, who was now nothing more but a living corpse. Emperor fought back, and almost defeated Gazim, and once Gazim fell on the ground, Emperor felt like he does not want to show why he's there, but that was his biggest mistake. He got sliced by Gazim's lighting and then his body was broken with Gazim's strong kick. Other two Guardians were dead as well, and when Night Patrol came to visit Church, they found only bodies of their beloved Emperor and his Guardians..."

"Nobody knew who and why someone murdered their beloved Emperor, nor what he was doing in that Church so late. He took secret of Nexus to his grave, leaving World with a great threat. His Mages, who were guarding the Nexus beneath the ground, all became old and their energies were almost drawn away from them, but since Emperor left them an order that they mustn't leave the Nexus alone, they were obeying his commands, now knowing that he's dead. Days were passing slowly and Gazim was hiding in the small Cave just North of Capital City. There he was hunting, living and waiting for his chance to kill another Emperor and ruin that Empire. One night, when Gazim was sleeping in his Cave, a Ghost visited him. "Gazim, hear my call!" Ghost shouted, standing in front of Gazim. Gazim woke up, and when he saw a Ghost he jumped in the air, picking up his Lighting Sword. "I mean no harm.... Even if I meant to harm you, I cannot; I'm dead." said the Ghost, who looked like the Emperor Gazim killed. "What you want this time, traitor?" shouted Gazim, being provoked by Emperor's visit. "I left a curse behind myself. My soul cannot rest until that curse is gone." said Emperor with his Ghostly hollow voice. "You see, there is a thing called Nexus, which I left behind myself. If someone does not stop it, it will make the whole world explode, spreading the Cataclysm trough whole Galaxy." Emperor continued. Gazim carefully listened to his story, as Emperor was explaining everything about Nexus, everything except it's location. "Your soul deserves no peace, backstabber!" shouted Gazim, as Ghost was telling him the story. "You know what you must do..." said the Ghost, disappearing in the wind. Gazim sat back on his rocky bed, deep in thoughts. Not even Emperor said him how to use the Nexus, where is it located or even how it looks like. Some of those things even Emperor hadn't knew, but it was up to Gazim to decide will he spread the word about Nexus to new Emperor, or will he keep it a secret for himself and wait for Cataclysm. He spent whole night sitting on his rocky bed, and when the first lights of morning hit the Mountain, Gazim jumped out of his Cave, heading towards the Capital City. He was jumping from Tree to Tree, quickly reaching Gates of Great Capital City. As soon as he reached Gates, he placed black robes all over his face and body, so Guards wouldn't recognize him. "Halt, who goes there?" shouted Guardians, as they were raising their spears. "Traveler, just an ordinary Traveler." answered Gazim with softly hollow voice, whose they haven't recognized. "You may pass, old man. But have this in mind, no troubles inside walls!" shouted Guardian as he was lowering his spear, opening the Great Gate. Gazim slowly walked inside, and when the gates closed he jumped on one of roofs, looking all around the town. "I missed this place." he said, laughing a bit. Some people who were on the street noticed him on the roof, and they started running away, because they thought that he was a beast. What else could they think off, because skin on his legs, when you look from beneath him, was gray and he was jumping from roof to roof. He quickly jumped from roof to roof, until he finally reached huge Emperor's Halls. He landed near the gates and he spotted few Guardians, wandering around. He unnoticed entered the Halls, hiding behind the columns, so nobody would notice him. He almost reached the Emperor's Throne Room, and there he was spotted by one Guardian. "Halt!" shouted the Guard, as Gazim looked at him. "You're attempting to e-...enter the Throne R-...room, and that's what I g-...guard!" shouted Guardian who seemed to be drunk. Gazim smiled, taking out some Bronze coins from his pocket. He handed some of them to Guardian saying: "Go get yourself some beer, refresh yourself!". Guardian took the money, nodding and smiling at Gazim, then turning around and running towards the Tavern. Gazim sighed deeply as he opened the gate of Throne Room. When he entered, he spotted Old Man sitting on the Throne. It seemed to be a new Emperor of the Great Empire, but he was so old. "Emperor, isn't it?" asked Gazim, lowering down his black robes and revealing his face and skin. Emperor nodded, looking straight at Gazim's skin, sighing deeply. "And you're the one who killed my son, ain't it?" asked Emperor with a smile on his face. "Wh-...What?!" shouted Gazim, as twenty guards approached him with leadership of one who seemed to be drunk. "Here's your cooper, dead man!" shouted the Guard, throwing coins towards Gazim. Emperor stood up, looking straight at Gazim. "Why have you come here?"..."

"Gazim was surrounded by Guardians, and Emperor didn't seemed to be a friendly one. "I have message for you.... From your son." said Gazim. When other Guardians heard that he mentioned their dead Emperor, they pushed him on the ground placing spears on his neck. Gazim fell in front of Emperor, looking straight at him. "Do you know what are you doing right now? - Do you know that mentioning of our dead Emperor, my son, leads to a death sentence." said Emperor, crossing his arms and looking at Gazim. "But I am speaking truth!" shouted Gazim. Some Guardians laughed, but as soon as they started laughing, Emperor's Gaze would cut their laugh immediately. "This is serious thing, idiots!" shouted Emperor at his Guardians. After that he turned his gaze to Gazim again. "What message are you holding, what you need to tell me?" asked Emperor. Gazim slowly stood up, holding his air high in the air. "There is a thing called Nexus. It was created by your son, and it might cause a Cataclysm all over the world! It feeds with natural energy, and with energy of every living being. I don't know it's location, but we have to find it as soon as possible!" said Gazim, breathing heavily. Some Guardians were mumbling something but then they looked at Emperor and they saw that he is still looking serious at Gazim. "How you propose we find it when you don't kn-..." Emperor attempted to say something, and then huge explosion erupted from the Church's location. Everyone in town spotted that huge explosion, as people were running away from it, to avoid getting smashed by some rock or caught by fire. Massive force was all over the Capital City, as huge amount of lighting and frost were flying all over the ruins of Church. "Cataclysm have come..." said Gazim, as he jumped high into air, landing on one of balconies of Emperor's Throne Room. He looked at that Chaos Nexus caused, with very shocked facial expression. Out of that lighting and frost, huge rock came and headed towards the Emperor's Halls. Gazim jumped second before the rock smashed the Halls, looking down at dead Guardians and wounded Emperor. Whole town was in chaos and destruction, as people were abandoning it. Energy was too strong to be held under ground, that's why it had to land on the surface, and spread chaos and destruction to those who kept it hidden. Some Guards came and picked up the Emperor, taking him away from the Halls. Gazim jumped high into air, staying in it. Lighting came out of his hands and eyes, as he pointed that huge massive lighting towards the Nexus' eruption. Lighting and Frost clashed, causing that huge massive energy of Nexus to fly away from the City, landing to unknown location. As soon as it hit the ground, huge explosion erupted and Nexus was covered by rocks once again. Gazim landed on the ground, looking all over him and chaos that hit the City up. "How can this be?" said Gazim, looking at all those scared faces who were running away for their lives. "I believe nobody here would like to see a dead man saving their City, so it's better if I just disappear from here." said Gazim, as he was placing black robes all over his body, getting inside the group of running crowd..."
